Indian Sandstone Driveway
Summit Landscapes completed this front garden and driveway landscaping project at a property in Cambridge.
Although Indian Sandstone is usually used for patios and pathways rather than driveways, the client was very specific about the materials they wanted to replace their old, cracked concrete driveway with. We prepared the area by lifting and removing the old concrete and then laid 100mm of fresh concrete under the Indian Sandstone slabs while pointing them with a resin compound to eliminate any chance of them moving or cracking under the wheels of a vehicle.
We created a clean, inviting lawn using fresh turf and built an attractive new sloped retaining wall to contain a new flower bed for some shrubs between the client’s lawn and the neighbour’s driveway.
